As the District prepares for the 2025–26 school year, families are reminded that the first day of school will be Wednesday, August 27, 2025. To help students get off to a smooth start, school registration will take place over three days, with specific campuses assigned to each date.

Golden View Elementary School has achieved a remarkable honor by earning the prestigious Golden Bell Award for its outstanding Environmental Science program. This recognition, presented by the California School Boards Association (CSBA), highlights Golden View’s innovative approach to education that combines civic engagement, hands-on learning, and environmental stewardship. Notably, this marks Golden View’s second Golden Bell Award and the District’s sixth overall—a testament to Ocean View School District’s commitment to excellence and innovation in education.
