Modified Wednesday Schedule

All students attend school for a shorter day on Wednesdays so that teachers have time for program planning and staff development. The total instructional time for the week remains the same because the schedule on the other four days is longer.  Lunch is provided during modified day Recess.  Please plan appropriately for pickup on Wednesdays as ALL Golden View students are dismissed at 12:35pm.

Morning Dropoff: No supervision is available prior to 7:45am. Students may be dropped off for breakfast only at the lunch benches after 7:45am. Regular supervision will be available starting at 8am. Gates 2, 3 and Main Gate will be unlocked for students to be able to line up on the blacktop on their lines before class begins at 8:15am. Parents/guardians are able to stand with students on their lines prior to 8:15am.

Tardies: Gates will be locked at 8:15am and no late entry will be permitted. Please enter through the front office so your child is not accidentally marked absent for the day.

Early Pickups: Prior to dismissal, please enter the front office and your child will be called from their classroom to meet you. Students can not be called from their classroom until the parent/guardian is present in the front office, verified as a contact and photo ID is scanned. Please plan a minimum of 10-15 minutes for this process.

Dismissal: Parents/guardians may form a line outside their assigned gates and wait for their students to exit. Teachers will walk students to their dismissal gates to meet their adults.
