Dear Golden View,

As we embark on another exciting school year, I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to each of you. Having served as the Assistant Principal at Mesa View the past two years, it is a thrill to be able to connect with Golden families and see many familiar faces. Having taught elementary for many years, I am excited to be back in the elementary setting as my passion lies in early literacy and supporting the whole child from the time they enter school.  

The beginning of the school year is always a time filled with anticipation and enthusiasm, and I am eager to see what we will achieve together in the coming months. This year promises to be one of growth, opportunity and building relationships. Our commitment to fostering a supportive, engaging, and challenging environment remains at the forefront of everything we do.

To our new students and families, we are excited to have you join our community. You are now part of a vibrant and diverse group of learners and educators who are dedicated to excellence and innovation. To our returning families and students, welcome back! Your continued support and dedication are what make our school a wonderful place for learning and growth.

This year, we will be focusing on small group instruction with differentiation, writing, Universal Design for learning and continued social-emotional learning. These initiatives are designed to enrich our students' experiences and prepare them for the future. We also encourage open communication and invite you to reach out with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have.
